WaihonaPedia support page

Explanation of this page

People can ask questions. These questions deserve a prompt and good quality reply.

A question will be asked and set to a status. As soon as we start to engage on this question the status must be changed. A group of experts can be involved to get the answer, national or international. The moderator of  decides which group will be involved (the national or international group)

Below you will find tools to support you as a moderator or as a expert answering these questions.

Overview of questions asked

This overview allows you, depending on your role to see the list of questions asked. If you are dedicated to only ONE community then it should show you all the questions from only people in your community. Otherwise you will see all the questions on this WaihonaPedia across groups and if multiple diseases are present; of all diseases (in other words a global view). Note that in this global view each question will show from which group the person asking the question is and from which country.

You should be able to sort the overview; typically the date column is often used to sort.

Posting on behalf of...

Sometimes a members of your community might consider it difficult to ask a question in this platform. In these cases you can do it for them.

  1. members that are registered on the platform (preferred)
Allthough these members could do it themselves by logging in there can be reasons that they ask you to do it for them. The question will be added to their personal list. This can be a great benefit if later they consider the platform more at ease and they then fins a treasure of answers. Note that by invitations or other campaigns you can prepare this for them

  2. members unknown to the platform
These people often reach out to you by mail or social media. The question will appear in the overview and behave exactly like other questions but they will be owned by your group instead of to yourself. (although you will be registered as the 'author' of the question) The question itself allows for all the information important to the expert(s) to better understand pesonal situations.
