Sensory integration


 For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Pitt-Hopkins syndrome. 

Sensory integration or sensory processing is the connection between what people perceive with their senses and how they respond to them with movements. When there are disruptions in the processing of the sensory stimuli, this can also have consequences for the movements.
