Engage in a new way of working

Challenges voor patient associations

Facilitating the sharing of information, organizing peer contact, and preserving acquired knowledge - these are just some of the challenges that many patient organizations face.

For most of these organizations, it is difficult to combine all the necessary tasks required to effectively support their community. They face difficulties in finding reliable information, which can be a heavy burden on volunteers of patient associations.

How does WaihonaPedia work?

As a patient association, you will have your own secure space within the WaihonaPedia platform, eliminating the need for you to develop or maintain your own platform.

In our platform your members will have access to our services:

  • Your Stories: Telling your stories will inspire and help others. Stories will lead to a broader network of friends, initiate research and guideline development.

  • Ask the Expert: Registered families can ask questions to experts and we stimulate an answer from experts from different angles.

  • Scorecards and Questionnaires: Data collection respecting your own pace. Collected data help understand milestones and can be shared with scientific research.

  • Guideline Development: Guidelines provided by experts as Topics or Answers to Questions. Everybody is invited to discuss, comment, raise questions and each family can pick the relevant guidelines for their child.
