Problems with the ears

For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Marshall-Smith syndrome.

Ear infections may occur more frequently than usual in children with MSS. With recurrent ear infections, there is a chance of hearing deterioration.

The shape of the small bones (bones) in the ears, can cause the ear canal to become too narrow.
