Typical facial features

The typical facial features of individuals with Williams Beuren syndrome are often described as a ‘pixie face’ and are present from birth. They have a small head (mild microcephaly was observed) with wide forehead and strongly developed cheekbones. Often the eyes are somewhat far apart (which is called ‘hypertelorism’ with a difficult word).
