Kinderen met het WBS syndroom hebben vaak stralend blauwe ogen. Typisch is het stervormig patroon in de iris. Dit komt minder voor bij bruine ogen. Veel kinderen zien scheel en zijn verziend. Ook hebben ze vaak problemen met het dieptezicht, wat hun aarzeling bij het traplopen of lopen op een hobbelige ondergrond verklaart.
