Sometimes a child outgrows the children’s day-care centre before the age of 18. This could be because the level isn’t suitable anymore and the child needs more challenging material. It is possible to go to a specifically adjusted school, a tyltylschool is an example of this. This is a school for children with serious physical disabilities and a moderate to serious intellectual disability. In the Dutch educational system this is called a ‘cluster 3 school’. Educational facilities can be different per country.
