Symptoms: Eyes


 For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Marshall-Smith syndrome. 

  • shallow eye sockets;
  • larger bulbous eyes;
  • long eyelashes;
  • eye whites are bluish in colour.

  • Eyelids do not completely close the bulging eyes;
  • Glaucoma (an eye disease in which the optic nerve is damaged. This is due to increased pressure in the eyeball. This makes vision worse).
