Intelligence and (social) development
For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Marshall-Smith syndrome.
All children with MSS have severe intellectual disabilities. As a result, most children do not learn to speak or have very limited speech and toilet training. As this imposes a heavy burden, an adapted school or day care is needed.
