Blood glucose and circulation

Question

Our son is having trouble with his blood glucose and circulation. Is this familiar with the Marshall-Smith syndrome?

Answer of our experts

1. Cold feet were an issue but no glucose issues. His heels were very round and banged it very hard to the floor while laughing his head off.

(Parent of a child who died aged 18)

2. My son has cold clammy feet and always wears socks. He cries if he doesn't have socks on. No glucose issues though.

(Parent of 13 year old son)

3. Our daughter still has the needle marks on her feet from when she was a baby. Her feet are always cold and she doesn't like anything on them either. We always put fluffy socks on which she will usually pull off. The heel of her foot is also very round and she bangs them real hard on the floor when she's playing and she laughs her head off.

(Parent of 5 year old daughter)

4. Our daughters' feet are cold too. They bleed alright, not great and seem to take the same time to heal as everything else.

(Parent of 2 year old daughter)

5. No glucose issues but her feet are always ice cold. She can be dripping sweat, but her feet are cold. We let her wear socks if we're worried.

(Parent of 8 year old daughter)

6. No cold feet for our son. Hands and feet are just sweaty.

(Parent of 23 year old son)

7. She has always cold feet, but no glucose issues over here.

(Parent of 3 year old daughter)

8. Our son needs to wear socks all the time to regulate his temperature. If he doesn't, his feet get really cold and clammy.

(Parent of 10 year old son)
