Question

Are ear issues common with MSS-children?

My son has been swatting at his left ear for a few days, his face is swollen and he is extremely uncomfortable. Tests ruled out infection. The recommendation is to manage his pain unless anything worsens. Our parental instinct based upon his presenting symptoms tells us he has ear pain. What could be the cause of this pain?
